Optimization of photocatalytic decolorization of aqueous Rhodamine B dye solution in suspended titanium dioxide using Box-Benkhen method was done to determine the best combination of pH, initial dye concentration and catalyst loading. The source of light used was white light. Second order polynomial model was formulated to determine the significant effect of the three parameters. Analysis of Variance implied that the initial dye concentration has the most significant effect on decolorization of Rhodamine B dye solution. The optimum condition determined was at pH 9, 1000 mg/L initial dye concentration with catalyst loading of 0.8 g/L. The confirmatory run yielded an actual 17.51% percent decolorization is which is above the predicted response by 1.31%. This result was also slightly higher than the 16.23% percent decolorization in the experimental runs.
